Introduction
DayDay Band is a free fitness tracker companion app developed by Shenzhen Ultra Easy Technology Co., Ltd. (UTE-Tech), supporting affordable smart bracelets and fitness tracking devices. Available on both iOS (App Store ID: 958871193, iOS 9.0+) and Android (package: com.yc.pedometer), DayDay Band has surpassed 1 million downloads on Google Play, making it a widely used solution for budget-conscious health monitoring.
The app connects to compatible smart bracelets via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), syncing health data including step counts, sleep patterns, heart rate readings, and calorie burn directly to your smartphone in real time.
How DayDay Band Works
Getting started with DayDay Band is straightforward. Download the app from Google Play or the App Store, open it, grant Bluetooth and location permissions, and navigate to the device binding section. Power on your smart bracelet (long-press the touch spot for 2–5 seconds), then select your bracelet model (e.g., B6W-XXXX) from the scan list. Once paired, the app will begin displaying your health data automatically.
To sync data, pull down on any screen within the app — this refreshes all health data from your bracelet. For accurate sleep data, wear the device to sleep, as the band uses motion detection to determine when you're resting.

How do I connect my DayDay Band bracelet to my phone? (DayDay Band instructions)
To connect your DayDay Band bracelet: (1) Download the DayDay Band app from Google Play or the App Store; (2) Open the app and create/sign in to your account; (3) Enable Bluetooth on your phone; (4) Power on your bracelet by long-pressing the touch spot for 2–5 seconds; (5) In the DayDay Band app, go to the device/bind section; (6) Select your bracelet model from the scan list (look for a name like B6W-XXXX or your model name); (7) Confirm pairing on your phone. Once connected, grant notification access when prompted. Pull down on any app screen to sync data from your bracelet.
Why is my DayDay Band not connecting?
If your DayDay Band is not connecting, try these steps in order: (1) Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings, find the bracelet device, tap 'Forget This Device', then scan again in the DayDay Band app — this re-pairing trick fixes most connection issues; (2) Restart your bracelet by long-pressing the touch spot; (3) Make sure Location permission is granted to the DayDay Band app (required for Bluetooth scanning on Android 6.0+); (4) Check that your bracelet battery is not critically low; (5) On Android, go to Settings → Apps → DayDay Band → Storage → Clear Cache; (6) Make sure you're running the latest version of the app. If still not connecting, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
How do I use DayDay Band sleep mode?
DayDay Band sleep monitoring is automatic — simply wear the bracelet to bed and it will detect sleep based on your movement patterns. For accurate sleep data: (1) Wear the device to sleep every night consistently; (2) Make sure the bracelet is snugly on your wrist; (3) In the app, swipe from the steps page to the sleep page, then tap the sleep circle to view deep sleep, light sleep, and awake periods; (4) You can view sleep history by day, week, or month. Important: Remove the bracelet before charging, as the device may count charging periods as sleep time and skew your sleep data.
How do I change the time on my DayDay Band?
The DayDay Band bracelet automatically syncs its time from your phone when connected. To set the correct time: (1) Make sure your phone's time and timezone are correct (check phone Settings → General → Date & Time); (2) Open the DayDay Band app and ensure your bracelet is connected (green connection indicator); (3) Pull down on the main screen to sync all data — this also syncs the time to your bracelet; (4) If the time is still wrong, disconnect and reconnect your bracelet in the app. The time on your bracelet should update within a few seconds of syncing.
What devices are compatible with the DayDay Band app?
DayDay Band works with a variety of affordable generic smart bracelets commonly sold on Amazon, AliExpress, Temu, eBay, and Walmart. Compatible models include bracelets in the B6W series (displayed as B6W-XXXX in Bluetooth scan), M3 smart bracelet models, and various no-brand fitness trackers that ship with a QR code pointing to the DayDay Band app. If your bracelet's packaging shows a QR code that leads to the DayDay Band app, or if the included instructions say to download 'DayDay Band,' this app is compatible with your device. Note: Do not confuse with the 'DayBand' app (com.yc.dayband), which is a separate app by the same developer for different devices.
Is the DayDay Band waterproof?
Most DayDay Band-compatible bracelets feature IP67 water resistance — they can withstand splashes, sweat, and brief immersion in water (up to 1 meter for 30 minutes). However, they are not designed for swimming or hot water. Important: Always remove the bracelet before charging, as the pop-out USB charging module is not waterproof. Avoid wearing the bracelet in hot showers, saunas, or when swimming in pools or open water. The specific waterproof rating varies by bracelet model, so always check the specifications of your specific device.
Where can I find the DayDay Band manual or instructions?
The official DayDay Band user manual is available at videowan.com/daybandmanual.doc. Since most compatible bracelets are generic devices sold with minimal documentation, here are the key navigation tips: tap the side button on the bracelet to cycle through screens (Time → Steps → Distance → Calories); swipe in the app between the steps page and sleep page; tap the circle indicators on each page to view history by day, week, or month; and pull down on any app screen to sync data. For video tutorials, search YouTube for 'DayDay Band setup' or 'DayDay Band how to use' for step-by-step visual guides.
How does the DayDay Band heart monitor work?
The DayDay Band heart rate monitor uses an optical sensor (LED and photodiode) on the back of the bracelet to measure your pulse. The sensor shines light through your skin and measures the rate of blood flow to calculate heart rate. To get an accurate reading: wear the bracelet snugly on your wrist (not too loose); place it about one finger-width above your wrist bone; keep your wrist still during measurement; and if using the touch sensor for measurements, moisten your finger slightly for better contact. Heart rate data is displayed in the app and can be viewed over time. Note: This is a consumer wellness device — readings are for general reference only and not suitable for medical diagnosis.
Is the DayDay Band app safe and free?
Yes, DayDay Band is free to download and use on both Android and iOS with no subscriptions or in-app purchases. It is published by Shenzhen Ultra Easy Technology Co., Ltd. (UTE-Tech) on both official app stores. Regarding privacy: the app may share Location, Health and fitness, and Device IDs with third parties; data is encrypted in transit; and you can request data deletion via the privacy policy at app.ute-tech.com.cn/privacy-policy/dayband_en.html. The developer also makes GloryFit, DayBand, and FlagFit apps. As with any app, review the privacy policy for full details on how your health data is handled.

First I found out I need to keep tapping the side button on the band to see what the screens are: Time, steps, distance and, finally, calories. Then I went into app and found I needed to swipe to get from the steps page to the sleep page (so there are two main pages). On each of these pages is a circle with total steps or total sleep. You need to tap on the circles to see the history info and you can see that by the day, week or month. As for accuracy, I cannot say as I have only had this three days. But it certainly would have been nice to have these very simple instructions come with the band. Hope this helps someone else.

I absolutely love it! I did not spend much for it. I figured for the money fitness bands go for — let me try out one first and see if it is worth having one! I am totally impressed and would NOT ever want to be without one because who knew I moved so little during the day — and you have to be intentional to make a change? Who knew I was not sleeping well? Such a great buy and want to get all my friends one if they — like me — never had one before.
App Store
Sure it'll disconnect and sometimes won't say that I've gotten a text, which I don't mind because I found that option after I had bought it so it's a bonus when it does work. The only real problem I've had is once I've taken it off and it's disconnected I have to go to my Bluetooth setting and forget it and then find it again and all works well. I didn't spend a lot so I can't complain with the few hiccups I've come across.
App Store
So first of all the paper doesn't come with things like how long the band takes to charge but that isn't a big problem. When I installed the app it wanted to know a bunch of information. Then I saw the find watch thing and I pressed and nothing happened but then I put it in my wrist and all I felt was a vibration. The watch is ok but I wish it had a GPS tracker on it. The step counting works fine and the heart rate monitor gives me a good general idea of my health. Hope this helps for future buyers.
App Store
Been using this for a couple of months with my inexpensive fitness band. The heart rate monitor works well for resting rate checks and the sleep tracking has helped me understand my sleep patterns better. The step counter motivates me to be more active. The app is simple and easy to navigate once you get used to it. HealthKit integration is a nice bonus. Good value for a free app.
Google Play
Bought a cheap fitness band online and this app pairs with it perfectly. Step counting is accurate and the sleep monitoring is helpful for understanding my rest patterns. Battery life on the band is amazing — about 5 days on a single charge. The app could use more features but for the price it does the job well. Syncing is easy, just pull down on the screen.
Google Play
Works well for basic tracking. The heart rate monitor is reasonably accurate for light monitoring. My band sometimes disconnects overnight and I have to re-pair it, but following the tip to forget and re-pair from Bluetooth settings fixes it. Not perfect but decent for a budget device. The app interface is straightforward and easy to use.
Google Play
Simple app that does exactly what it advertises. I use it with an inexpensive fitness band I found for under $10. The step counter motivates me to walk more every day and the sleep tracking shows me how much rest I actually get. Notifications work well when properly set up. Good companion app for a budget bracelet — free and does what it promises.
Google Play
It works. Step counting is accurate enough and sleep tracking is basic but useful. The app is straightforward once you figure out you need to pull down to sync data — wish that was in the instructions. Would rate higher if the interface was more polished, but for a free app with a budget band, it gets the job done. Heart rate monitoring works as expected for a consumer device.
Google Play
Been using this for 3 months with my fitness bracelet. The heart rate monitor is accurate for resting rate. Sleep analysis has actually helped me improve my sleep habits — I didn't realize I was waking up so often during the night. Good app for basic fitness tracking without spending a lot. The HealthKit sync on iOS is a great bonus feature I didn't expect.
