Introduction
H Band is a free health management companion app developed by Shenzhen Veepoo Technology Co., Ltd., one of the leading smartwatch solution providers in China. With over 5 million downloads on Google Play and ratings of 3.5★ (Android) and 3.4★ (iOS), the H Band app connects to a wide range of Veepoo-powered smart watches and fitness bands — enabling step tracking, heart rate monitoring, sleep analysis, blood oxygen (SpO₂), ECG, and notification management from your phone.
If your smartwatch or fitness band manual instructs you to download H Band, or a QR code on the device points to the H Band download page, this guide covers everything: how to connect your wearable, what health features are available, how to customize watch faces, and how to troubleshoot common connectivity issues.
What Is the H Band App?
The H Band app is a connected-device companion that pairs with Veepoo-based Bluetooth smartwatches and smart bands. Once paired, H Band synchronizes health and activity data — including steps, heart rate, sleep stages, blood oxygen, blood pressure, and ECG — from your wearable to your phone. It also forwards call alerts, SMS, and app notifications to your wrist.
H Band is designed for everyday health and fitness monitoring, not clinical or medical diagnostics. All health data provided by the app is for general wellness reference only.
What Smartwatches Work with H Band?
The H Band app supports smartwatches and fitness bands manufactured by Shenzhen Veepoo Technology and compatible third-party brands using Veepoo firmware. Popular H Band compatible devices include:
Veepoo-branded smart watches and bands (various models with health monitoring)
Budget and mid-range smartwatches featuring step counting, heart rate, sleep, SpO₂, blood pressure, and ECG sensors

H Band is a free smartwatch companion app developed by Shenzhen Veepoo Technology Co., Ltd. It connects to Veepoo-powered Bluetooth smartwatches and fitness bands to enable comprehensive health monitoring — including step counting, heart rate, sleep analysis, blood oxygen (SpO₂), blood pressure, ECG, and HRV tracking. The app also manages call alerts, SMS and app notifications, sedentary reminders, alarms, and watch face customization. H Band stores approximately one month of data in the cloud and integrates with Apple HealthKit on iOS. It is free with no subscription or in-app purchases. Available on both Android (5M+ downloads) and iOS.
How do I connect my smartwatch to the H Band app?
To connect your smartwatch to H Band: (1) Download H Band from Google Play or the App Store. (2) Open the app and grant Bluetooth, Location, and Notification permissions. (3) Power on your smartwatch and ensure it is in pairing mode. (4) In H Band, tap the device pairing screen and scan for nearby devices. (5) Select your watch from the list, or scan the QR code displayed on the watch. (6) Confirm pairing and wait for the initial data sync. If your watch doesn't appear, ensure Bluetooth is enabled, restart both devices, and check that the watch isn't paired to another phone. On Android, Location permission is required for BLE scanning — this is an Android system requirement, not an H Band limitation.
Why does H Band keep disconnecting from my watch?
Common causes of H Band disconnection: (1) Background app restrictions — Android and iOS kill background apps to save battery. Add H Band to your battery optimization whitelist (Settings → Battery → H Band → Don't Optimize). (2) Missing permissions — H Band requires Bluetooth, Location, and Notification access. (3) Watch already paired to another phone — unpair from the old device first. (4) Outdated app version — update H Band to the latest version from the app store. (5) Bluetooth interference — move away from other Bluetooth devices and Wi-Fi routers. (6) If all else fails, unpair the watch from H Band, uninstall the app, reinstall, and pair from scratch. Ensure your phone's operating system is up to date as well.
What smartwatches are compatible with the H Band app?
H Band is compatible with smartwatches and fitness bands manufactured by Shenzhen Veepoo Technology and third-party brands using Veepoo firmware. This includes a wide range of budget and mid-range Bluetooth wearables featuring step counting, heart rate, sleep, SpO₂, blood pressure, and ECG sensors. Some FireBoltt models and other white-label watches also use H Band as their companion app. The easiest way to check compatibility: open H Band, scan for devices, and see if your watch appears. If your watch manual specifies H Band or shows a QR code linking to the H Band download page, it is compatible.
How do I change watch faces in the H Band app?
To change watch faces in H Band: (1) Ensure your watch is connected to the H Band app via Bluetooth. (2) Open the app and navigate to the watch face or dial section (usually under device settings or watch face gallery). (3) Browse available watch face designs — analog, digital, and themed styles. (4) Tap a design you like and select 'Apply' or 'Push to Watch.' The watch face will transfer via Bluetooth. Keep the watch close to your phone during the transfer. Note: available watch faces depend on your specific watch model. If the transfer fails, ensure a stable Bluetooth connection and try again.
Is the H Band app safe to use? What data does it collect?
According to the App Store privacy label, H Band may collect location and diagnostics data, but this data is not linked to your identity. On Google Play, H Band declares no data is shared with third parties and no data is collected. Data is encrypted in transit, and you can request data deletion. H Band's privacy policy states it strictly protects user privacy. The app integrates with Apple HealthKit on iOS. Our assessment: H Band is acceptable for everyday fitness tracking on budget wearables, but users with strict privacy requirements should review the full privacy policy at the developer's website.
Does H Band support blood pressure and ECG monitoring?
Yes, on compatible Veepoo-powered watches that include blood pressure and ECG sensors. H Band displays blood pressure readings and trends for self-monitoring, and supports ECG waveform mapping and HRV (heart rate variability) analysis on ECG-capable devices. Important: blood pressure and ECG data from H Band is for general wellness reference only and is not intended for clinical diagnosis or medical treatment decisions. Accuracy depends on the watch hardware, sensor quality, and measurement conditions. For medical-grade readings, consult a certified medical device.
Can H Band sync with Apple Health or Google Fit?
On iOS, H Band integrates with Apple HealthKit and can upload health data (steps, heart rate, sleep) to the Apple Health app. To enable it: go to iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → H Band, and authorize the data types you want synced. On Android, H Band does not natively integrate with Google Fit. If data doesn't appear in Apple Health, open H Band manually to trigger a sync. Note that continuous GPS use during background workout tracking can reduce battery life on iOS.
How do I fix H Band not counting steps or tracking sleep?
If H Band is not counting steps: (1) Ensure the watch is properly connected via Bluetooth — check the app's connection status. (2) Verify that the watch is worn correctly on your wrist. (3) Walk with natural arm swing — steps are detected via wrist motion. (4) Open the H Band app to force a data sync from the watch. (5) Check battery optimization settings — if the app is killed in the background, it can't receive data. For sleep tracking issues: (1) Wear the watch to bed with a snug (not tight) fit. (2) Ensure the heart rate sensor is making skin contact. (3) Check that sleep tracking is enabled in the app settings. (4) Open the app in the morning to sync the night's sleep data.
What is the H Band password format and how do I log in?
H Band supports both local (non-cloud) use without an account and optional account registration for cloud data sync. If creating an account, H Band typically requires a 4-digit or alphanumeric password. If you've forgotten your password, use the 'Forgot Password' option in the login screen, which sends a verification code to your registered email or phone number. For most basic use cases, you can use H Band without creating an account — health data will be stored locally on your phone.
H Band vs H Band Lite — what is the difference?
H Band and H Band Lite are both developed by the Veepoo ecosystem (published under 家福 张 on iOS). H Band is the full-featured version with comprehensive health monitoring (steps, HR, sleep, SpO₂, BP, ECG, HRV), notification management, and cloud storage. H Band Lite is a simplified version designed for basic use cases with a lighter app footprint. If your watch manual specifies 'H Band' (not Lite), use the full version for the best experience. Both are free.

Most functions in app appear to work. The audio from phone to ET485 watch worked fine for a few days. Pulse rate and O2 level and blood pressure seem ok. Sleep is accurate on some nights. EKG seems to work well although a bit finicky if you don't make good connections on the watch. Most all other functions including displaying text messages work well. Steps only register if your arms are moving which is normal for watches.

I really like this new watch. Down side is the screen for loading watch faces is very slow loading and takes forever for the watch faces to load to see which one I'd like to download. The Problem is the H Band internet and they need to fix their servers! Why do you have only 1 watch face that keeps track of sleep?
App Store
I just received my new watch and I love it! The only thing is I can't figure out how to turn the volume off on the watch itself. I've tried disconnecting the Bluetooth to the watch but the minute I start watching a video, the watch accesses the Bluetooth and I start hearing the volume on the watch again. Overall the watch and app work great together.
App Store
H Band has been reliable for tracking my daily health metrics. The heart rate monitoring is consistent throughout the day, and the sleep tracking gives me a good breakdown of my sleep stages. Blood oxygen readings are useful for keeping tabs on my SpO₂ levels. The ECG feature on my Veepoo watch works surprisingly well. I wish the app interface was more modern looking, but functionally it delivers everything I need.
App Store
Been using H Band for over a year with my smartwatch and it consistently delivers. Step counting is accurate, notifications come through reliably, and the sleep data has genuinely helped me improve my sleep habits. The blood pressure feature is a nice bonus for daily self-monitoring. Free app with no ads pushing you to subscribe — that alone is worth five stars in today's app market.
Google Play
Works well. But it doesn't allow the phone's ringtone to come through the watch when the phone rings. There is no way to set it. Yet any and every other sound and notification comes through the watch like it's set to. The app has to be updated to keep the weather up to date. It tends to randomly send the call to the phone when answered from the watch. The faces are cool. I just wish there were more.
Google Play
Absolutely love this! But if I even slightly wake up it cuts my sleep data right there. Please make it so that we can adjust it for OUR normal sleep hours. I used to have a watch that I could do that with and it worked much better about not cutting off the data in the wrong place. I love all the functions of this watch! Could add a weight module.
Google Play
H Band does exactly what I need for everyday health tracking. I pair it with a Veepoo-based watch and the connection is stable as long as the app is whitelisted in battery settings. Step counting matches my manual count closely. Heart rate readings are consistent with my gym equipment. The blood oxygen feature is useful for post-workout recovery checks. Free with no subscription needed — can't complain at this price point.
Google Play
The sleep tracking on H Band is surprisingly detailed for a free app. It breaks down deep sleep, light sleep, REM, and awake periods accurately most nights. I've been able to identify patterns that helped me adjust my sleep schedule. The one issue is that if you briefly wake up at night, the app sometimes splits your sleep into two sessions. Heart rate and SpO₂ monitoring work well too.
Google Play
Best free companion app for budget smartwatches. I've tried Da Fit, Wearfit Pro, and several others — H Band is among the most reliable for Veepoo devices. Blood pressure, ECG, and heart rate all work on my watch. Notifications come through instantly. The cloud data feature stores about a month of data which is enough for me to track trends. No ads, no subscription, no premium upsells. This is how free apps should work.
