Introduction
HealthWear is a free smartwatch companion app developed by Shenzhen Zhishang Wear Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳市智尚穿戴科技有限公司), also operating under Shenzhen Yucheng Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. With over 100,000 downloads on Google Play, the HealthWear app connects to compatible smartwatches and smart rings via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to deliver comprehensive health monitoring — including non-invasive blood glucose, ECG, blood pressure, heart rate, SpO2, and more — all without any subscription fees.
The HealthWear app is designed for HealthWear branded smartwatches and fitness rings equipped with advanced health sensors. Whether you're tracking daily activity or monitoring specific health metrics, HealthWear serves as the central hub for syncing, analyzing, and visualizing your wearable health data.
How HealthWear Works
HealthWear connects to your smartwatch or smart ring via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Once paired, the app continuously syncs health data — blood glucose levels, ECG readings, blood pressure, heart rate, SpO2, body temperature, respiratory rate, and sleep patterns — from your wearable to your phone. Data is stored locally on your device with optional Apple Health sync on iOS.
The HealthWear app also functions as a notification bridge: incoming calls, SMS messages, and third-party app notifications are forwarded to your wearable. On Bluetooth-enabled models, you can even answer and end calls directly from your wrist.
Health Monitoring Features
Non-Invasive Blood Glucose Monitoring
One of HealthWear's standout features is AI-based non-invasive blood glucose tracking. Compatible devices measure blood glucose at 10-minute intervals throughout the day, providing trend data that helps you understand how meals, exercise, and sleep affect your glucose levels. Daily calibration with a fingerstick meter improves accuracy over time.

How do I connect the HealthWear app to my smartwatch?
To connect HealthWear: (1) Download the app from Google Play (com.yucheng.HealthWear) or App Store (search 'HealthWear'); (2) Enable Bluetooth on your phone; (3) Power on your smartwatch or smart ring; (4) Open HealthWear and go to the device section; (5) Tap to scan for nearby devices; (6) Select your wearable from the list and confirm pairing; (7) Grant notification access and location permissions when prompted. Keep both devices close during initial pairing.
How does the HealthWear blood glucose monitoring work?
HealthWear uses AI-based non-invasive blood glucose tracking on compatible wearable devices. The sensor measures blood glucose at 10-minute intervals throughout the day, providing trend data rather than single-point readings. For improved accuracy, daily calibration with a standard fingerstick blood glucose meter is recommended. This feature shows how meals, exercise, and sleep affect your glucose levels. Note: readings are for wellness reference only and should not replace professional medical testing.
Is the HealthWear ECG feature medically accurate?
The HealthWear ECG feature records electrocardiogram data including heart rhythm and sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous system activity analysis. While users report useful insights — particularly those monitoring conditions like dysautonomia — the ECG readings from consumer wearables are for general health awareness only. They are not FDA-cleared medical devices and should not be used for medical diagnosis. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical-grade ECG interpretation.
Why is the HealthWear app not connecting to my device?
Common HealthWear connection fixes: (1) Ensure Bluetooth is enabled and the app has location permission (required for BLE scanning on Android); (2) Keep devices within close range during pairing; (3) Clear app cache — go to Settings > Apps > HealthWear > Storage > Clear Cache; (4) Update to the latest version from the store; (5) Remove the watch from other phones' Bluetooth settings first; (6) Restart both phone and watch, then re-pair; (7) On Android, disable battery optimization for HealthWear to prevent background termination.
Does the HealthWear app sync with Apple Health?
Yes. HealthWear integrates with Apple HealthKit on iOS devices, syncing steps, calories, and distance data to Apple's centralized health platform. To enable: open HealthWear, go to settings, find the Apple Health option, and grant permission. This allows you to view your HealthWear data alongside other health apps in Apple Health. Note: HealthKit sync is iOS-only.
Is the HealthWear app free to download and use?
Yes, HealthWear is completely free to download and use on both Android and iOS. There are no subscription fees, premium tiers, or in-app purchases. All features — blood glucose, ECG, blood pressure, heart rate, SpO2, sleep tracking, notifications, Care mode, and watch face customization — are included at no cost.
What health metrics can the HealthWear app track?
HealthWear tracks a comprehensive range of health metrics: non-invasive blood glucose (AI-based, 10-minute intervals), ECG (electrocardiogram), blood pressure, heart rate (24-hour), SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation), body temperature, respiratory rate, uric acid, blood fat, sleep quality, steps, calories burned, and distance. Available metrics depend on your connected wearable device's sensor capabilities.
How do I calibrate blood pressure on the HealthWear app?
To calibrate blood pressure in HealthWear: (1) Take a reading with a standard arm blood pressure cuff; (2) Open HealthWear and navigate to the blood pressure section; (3) Enable 'Personal Mode' in the settings; (4) Enter your systolic and diastolic readings from your cuff; (5) Save the calibration. The app uses these reference values to adjust wrist-based readings for improved accuracy. Recalibrate periodically for best results.
Which devices are compatible with the HealthWear app?
HealthWear is designed for HealthWear branded smartwatches and smart rings equipped with advanced health monitoring sensors (blood glucose, ECG, blood pressure, SpO2, body temperature). If your wearable device's packaging or manual mentions downloading the 'HealthWear' app, your device is compatible. The app works with both smartwatches and fitness rings from the HealthWear ecosystem.

The ECG option actually shows your sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous system activity. This comes in handy for someone like myself who has dysautonomia. HR and Temperature is accurate, BP is accurate as long as you setup personal mode. This one writes to Apple Health and is very easy to use. I have went through many watches and this is the best one.

I've had the watch a few days and I'm really impressed. Very accurate readings across the board. The blood work monitoring and sleep analysis seem pretty amazing to me. If you're not getting correct readings it might be because you haven't set up the watch properly with personal calibration.
App Store
I've had the pulse ring for about two weeks and in general I'm pleased with the product. The app does need some work for English-speaking users — when errors occur it defaults to Chinese language. ECG monitoring could use better guidance. But the health tracking functions work well overall.
App Store
Using this with a smart ring and the blood glucose monitoring is surprisingly useful. After proper calibration with a fingerstick meter, the readings track my glucose trends well throughout the day. Sleep analysis is detailed with quality scores. Apple Health sync works perfectly.
App Store
Great free health app for the price of the watch. Blood pressure readings match my home cuff after calibration. Heart rate is consistent and SpO2 readings are helpful. The care mode lets my daughter check on my health data which gives her peace of mind. Good value overall.
Google Play
Solid health tracking app. After calibrating blood pressure in personal mode, readings are very close to my arm cuff. Blood glucose trends are useful for seeing patterns after meals. The daily and weekly health reports make it easy to understand your data.
Google Play
Decent app with lots of health features. ECG, blood glucose, SpO2 — all work on my smartwatch. Sleep tracking is detailed with quality scores. The care mode for sharing data with family is a nice touch. Interface could be more polished but functionality is good.
Google Play
Impressed by the range of health metrics tracked — blood glucose, ECG, blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and more. Notifications for calls and messages work perfectly. The interactive health charts help visualize trends over time. Multiple language support is excellent.
Google Play
Good companion app for my HealthWear watch. Step counting and calorie tracking are accurate. Blood pressure needs calibration but then gives reasonable readings. Sleep analysis with quality scoring is helpful. Would like more exercise mode options.
Google Play
Using HealthWear with a smart ring for health monitoring. Blood glucose tracking at 10-minute intervals gives a good picture of daily trends. Body temperature and respiratory rate readings are consistent. Free with no ads and no subscription — hard to beat for the features offered.
