Introduction
M2 Wear (also written as M2Wear or M2-Wear) is a free smartwatch companion app for budget smart bands and generic smartwatches, developed by Shenzhen United Power Technology Co., Ltd. With over 1 million downloads on Google Play, M2 Wear bridges low-cost Bluetooth wearables with your smartphone — delivering health tracking, workout recording, and smart call & SMS notifications in one simple interface.
Designed for users of budget smartwatches such as the i7 Pro, S9 Mini, CXT, Z8 Pro, and various M2-branded watches, the app delivers practical fitness and notification features without the premium price tag.
How M2 Wear Works
M2 Wear connects to your smartwatch via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Once paired, the app continuously syncs health data — step counts, heart rate readings, sleep records, and workout logs — from your wrist to your phone. You can view your data in daily, weekly, and monthly summaries.
The app also acts as a notification bridge: incoming calls, SMS messages, and WeChat alerts are forwarded from your phone to your watch, so you stay connected without constantly checking your phone.
Health & Fitness Tracking
Step Counting & Daily Activity
M2 Wear records your daily step count, walking distance, and calories burned, comparing them against your personal daily goals. Real-time step display updates dynamically so you can monitor your activity throughout the day.
Sleep Monitoring
The app provides sleep quality tracking, recording total sleep duration and breaking it into deep sleep, light sleep, and awake periods within a set time window. Weekly histograms help you visualize your sleep trends over time.

DeveloperShenzhen United Power Technology Co., Ltd.
M2 Wear (also called M2Wear or M2-Wear) is a free smartwatch companion app developed by Shenzhen United Power Technology Co., Ltd. It is designed to pair with low-cost Bluetooth smart bands and generic smartwatches — devices like the i7 Pro, S9 Mini, CXT, Z8 Pro, and various white-label M2-branded watches. Once paired via Bluetooth, the app serves as your health dashboard: it displays step counts, walking distance, calorie burns, heart rate history, sleep stage breakdowns, and workout records. It also acts as a notification bridge — forwarding incoming calls, SMS messages, and WeChat alerts from your phone to your watch so you can stay informed without constantly checking your phone. M2 Wear is free on both Android (Google Play, 1M+ downloads) and iOS (App Store).
How do I connect M2 Wear to my smartwatch?
To connect M2 Wear to your smartwatch: (1) Download M2 Wear from Google Play (package: com.lhzl.mtwearpro) or the App Store (ID: 1491573165); (2) Open the app and create an account or log in; (3) Enable Bluetooth on your phone; (4) Power on your smartwatch and ensure it is in pairing mode (usually by going to the watch settings and selecting Bluetooth or pairing); (5) In the M2 Wear app, tap the device section and select 'Add Device' or 'Bind Device'; (6) Select your watch from the Bluetooth scan list; (7) Confirm the pairing on both your phone and watch. Once connected, grant notification access when prompted to enable call and SMS forwarding. The app will then sync health data automatically.
Why is M2 Wear not working or not connecting to my watch?
Common M2 Wear connection issues and fixes: (1) Bluetooth is off — make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, then force-close and reopen M2 Wear. (2) Watch is out of range — keep phone and watch within 1–2 meters during initial pairing. (3) Cache problem — go to Settings > Apps > M2 Wear > Storage, clear cache and data, then relaunch the app. (4) Re-pairing needed — remove the watch from M2 Wear and from your phone's Bluetooth settings, then repair from scratch. (5) App not updated — check for the latest M2 Wear version on the Play Store or App Store. (6) Device restart — power off both your phone and smartwatch, then restart both and try again. Note: some users report that after reinstalling the app, their existing account credentials still work and devices can be re-bound.
Which smartwatches are compatible with M2 Wear?
M2 Wear works with a wide range of generic and budget Bluetooth smartwatches and smart bands, including: i7 Pro, i7 Pro Max series; S9 Mini smart band; CXT smart band; Z8 Pro smartwatch; various M2-branded smartwatches; and other white-label BLE-compatible smart bands. M2 Wear is typically the companion app for budget smartwatches sold on platforms like AliExpress, Amazon, or local markets without a well-known brand name. If your watch's packaging shows a QR code that leads to M2 Wear, or the manual instructs you to search for 'M2Wear' in the app store, this is the correct app. Note that newer variants of the app may also appear as 'M2-Wear' (App Store ID 6453124277) — check your watch documentation for the correct version.
Does M2 Wear support sleep tracking?
Yes. M2 Wear provides sleep monitoring for supported smartwatch models. It records your total sleep duration and breaks it into deep sleep, light sleep, and awake periods within the sleep window you set. You can view daily sleep stats and weekly histograms to track your sleep quality over time. For best accuracy, wear your smartwatch while sleeping and keep your phone's Bluetooth connected. Note that sleep tracking accuracy varies by watch model and sensor quality — as with all consumer wearables, the data is for general wellness reference and not a medical measurement.
Does M2 Wear sync with Apple Health or Google Fit?
M2 Wear's core sync is with the app's own cloud backend. Direct integration with Apple Health or Google Fit is not a prominently advertised feature of M2 Wear. The app focuses on its own health dashboard for displaying step data, sleep records, heart rate, and workout logs. If health platform integration is important to you, consider checking the app's current settings menu — integration options may have been added in recent updates. For deeper Apple Health or Google Fit integration, apps like Haylou Fun, Da Fit, or Zepp are better alternatives.
Is M2 Wear free?
Yes, M2 Wear is completely free to download and use on both Android and iOS. There are no subscription fees, no premium tiers, and no in-app purchases. All features — step tracking, sleep monitoring, heart rate, workout records, call & SMS notifications, and device management — are available at no cost. The app is free because it is bundled as the companion software for budget smartwatches that are sold as hardware products.
What health features does M2 Wear support?
M2 Wear supports the following health and fitness features (availability depends on your paired watch model): (1) Step counting — daily steps, walking distance, calories burned with real-time display; (2) Sleep monitoring — total sleep duration, deep sleep, light sleep, and awake periods with weekly trends; (3) Heart rate monitoring — real-time and historical heart rate data; (4) Blood pressure monitoring — for supported watch models; (5) Blood oxygen (SpO₂) monitoring — for supported watch models; (6) Workout recording — exercise duration, distance, steps, calories, and personal exercise reports for last 7 and 30 days. All health data is for general wellness reference only and not for medical diagnosis.
How do I set up call and SMS notifications in M2 Wear?
To enable call and SMS notifications in M2 Wear: (1) Make sure your watch is paired and connected in the app; (2) Open M2 Wear and go to the notification or device settings section; (3) Enable 'Call Reminder' or 'Phone Notification'; (4) Enable 'SMS Notification'; (5) On your phone, when prompted, grant M2 Wear access to notifications — this is essential for the app to forward alerts to your watch. On Android, you may need to go to Settings > Notifications > Notification Access and enable M2 Wear. On iOS, allow notification permissions when the app first requests them. Once set up, incoming calls and SMS will vibrate and display on your watch screen.
Why is M2 Wear data inaccurate or not syncing?
M2 Wear data sync and accuracy tips: (1) Sync delay — pull to refresh in the app after wearing your watch for several hours; the data may take a few minutes to appear. (2) Step count inaccuracy — ensure the watch is worn snugly on your wrist, not loose; wrist movement rather than actual steps can cause overcounting. (3) Sleep data missing — make sure Bluetooth stayed connected overnight and the watch's battery did not die. (4) Data not updating — force-close the app and reopen it; if the problem persists, try removing and re-pairing the device. (5) Weather not updating — M2 Wear's weather sync requires internet access and location permission; check that these are enabled. Remember that consumer-grade sensors in budget smartwatches have inherent measurement limitations, and all data should be treated as approximate wellness indicators.

Hello! I just wanted to say that your app is great! But for the weather it would help if you can have a option to change it to Fahrenheit. Please make it a option! Have a good day ❤️

The app is ok just that the font is something I would like y'all to have more options and then to have Fahrenheit as an option and be able to download apps on the watch have a school focus for me to not be interrupted during school and with the password I would like for it to only show it to unlock the app thing but to still be able to see the time without having to unlock it.

Would help to have Fahrenheit as an option for temperature. In both weather and body temp. The core functionality works — step tracking and sleep monitoring are useful for everyday health tracking.

Ok so in 2022 I got this watch I was super excited and all but now it basically is not a great watch. They made a new version of the happy watch and there is no stinking update for the old watch. Can you update the old 2022 happy watch so it actually works like the new one? I'm begging you.

Hello! If you add a photo studio or photo gallery per hour, so that more than one photo per hour can be transferred through this program. The step counting and notification features work well for basic daily use.
Google Play
Does exactly what it promises for a budget smartwatch. Call notifications work great and step counting is reliable. Connected my Z8 Pro on the first try. Sleep tracking shows deep vs light sleep which is more than I expected. Good free app for the price of the watch.
Google Play
App works for basic health tracking. Steps and calorie counting are decent. The main function — call and SMS notifications on my smart band — works well when the connection stays stable. Heart rate readings look reasonable compared to my other devices. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.
Google Play
Paired with my i7 Pro watch in under 2 minutes. Notifications come through reliably and the sleep tracking gives me a basic breakdown each morning. The exercise report feature showing 30-day averages is actually quite useful. App is straightforward and not cluttered with unnecessary features.
Google Play
M2Wear does the basics well. Call notifications show the caller name on my watch which is the main reason I use it. Sleep monitoring data syncs every morning. Would love better UI and faster sync times but for a free app paired with a budget watch it is acceptable.
Google Play
For a no-name smartwatch companion app it is surprisingly capable. Step counting, heart rate and sleep all work. The notification forwarding for calls and SMS is the killer feature — never miss a call with this. Occasionally needs a restart to reconnect but overall useful for the price.

M2 Wear displays real-time and historical heart rate data collected by your paired smartwatch. Monitor your resting heart rate and track how it changes during workouts and throughout the day.
Blood Pressure & Blood Oxygen
For supported watch models, M2 Wear also shows blood pressure and blood oxygen (SpO₂) readings. As with all consumer wearables, these readings are for general wellness reference only and are not intended for medical diagnosis.
Workout Recording
Track your exercise sessions with duration, distance (via phone GPS), steps, and calories burned. The app generates personal exercise reports so you can review your progress over the last 7 days and 30 days.
Smart Notifications & Connectivity
Call & SMS Alerts
When your phone rings or receives a text message, M2 Wear pushes the notification to your smartwatch, displaying caller ID and message content on the watch screen — so you never miss an important call or message.
Third-Party App Notifications
Configure notifications from WeChat and other messaging apps to be forwarded to your watch, keeping you informed without constantly reaching for your phone.
Raise Wrist to Wake
Set your smartwatch to automatically light up the screen when you raise your wrist, making it convenient to check the time or incoming alerts.
Remote Camera Shutter
Some M2 Wear-compatible watches support a remote photography mode where the watch can trigger your phone's camera shutter — perfect for group photos.
Find My Device
When you activate the "find device" function in M2 Wear, your paired band or watch vibrates to help you locate it if misplaced.
Data & Reports
M2 Wear provides daily, weekly, and monthly statistics for steps, sleep, and other health metrics. The sports data report view gives you average exercise stats for the last 30 days and 7 days, helping you identify fitness trends and stay motivated.
All health and exercise data are explicitly for reference only — not for medical diagnosis or treatment. Consult a doctor before making any medical decisions based on app data.
Compatible Devices
M2 Wear pairs with a wide range of generic Bluetooth smartwatches and smart bands, including:
i7 Pro series smartwatch
S9 Mini smart band
CXT smart band
Z8 Pro smartwatch
Various M2-branded and white-label smartwatches
Other BLE-compatible budget smart bands
If your smartwatch's packaging includes a QR code pointing to M2 Wear or instructs you to search for "M2Wear" in the app store, this is the correct app.
Is M2 Wear Safe? Privacy & Data
M2 Wear is published by Shenzhen United Power Technology Co., Ltd. On the App Store, the app declares it may collect Health & Fitness, Location, and Contacts data — none linked to your identity. On Google Play, it states data is encrypted in transit and you can request data deletion.
Important: M2 Wear-compatible smartwatches are consumer wellness devices, not medical devices. All health measurements (heart rate, SpO₂, blood pressure) are for general reference only.
M2 Wear vs Similar Apps
M2 Wear occupies the same companion app space as Da Fit, GloryFit, HryFine, FitPro, and other generic smartwatch companion apps. M2 Wear's strengths:
Works with a wide range of low-cost, white-label smartwatches
Core notification features (calls, SMS, WeChat) work reliably when paired
Completely free — no subscriptions, no in-app purchases
Available on both iOS 12+ and Android
Its known limitations include occasional Bluetooth connectivity issues, sync delays, and limited customization options compared to premium smartwatch apps.
