OKOK·International is the free companion app for Bluetooth smart body composition scales. Tracks weight, body fat, BMI, muscle mass, visceral fat and 12+ metrics. Supports Apple Health sync and multi-user profiles.
OKOK·International (package name: OKOK Healthcare Management) is a free mobile app for tracking body weight and body composition data from compatible Bluetooth smart scales. When you step on a paired Bluetooth scale, the app automatically receives your measurements and saves them — recording not just your weight, but also body fat percentage, body water, muscle mass, visceral fat, BMI, bone mass, basal metabolic rate (BMR), and more (up to 12 metrics when using a body composition scale). The app stores your full measurement history, displays trend charts over time, and supports multiple family profiles on one account. It's available free on both Google Play (Android) and the App Store (iOS).
OKOK·International works with Bluetooth smart scales that use the OKOK/Chipsea BLE communication protocol. Compatible scales include the Roffie Smart Body Fat Scale series and hundreds of generic OEM/white-label Bluetooth body composition scales sold on Amazon and AliExpress. If your scale manual or packaging shows a QR code linking to okokapp.com, tookok.cn, or instructs you to download 'OKOK International' from the Play Store or App Store, your scale is compatible. The quickest way to check: search 'OKOK International' in your app store, or scan the QR code on your scale's manual. Basic weight-only scales will connect but won't show body fat/composition data — only full BIA scales (with metal electrode pads) display the full 12-metric breakdown.
The weight measurement from the scale is typically accurate to within ±0.2 kg. The body composition estimates (body fat %, body water %, muscle mass) use bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) — a standard consumer-grade method that is approximate rather than clinical. BIA accuracy is affected by hydration level, time of day, foot placement, recent exercise, and body type. For best consistency: measure at the same time each day (ideally morning, after using the restroom, before eating or drinking), place the scale on a firm flat surface, and step barefoot with both feet fully on the electrode pads. OKOK's body composition data is best used for tracking personal trends over weeks and months — not as an absolute medical measurement. The app and scale are not intended for clinical diagnosis.
OKOK·International is free to download on both Android and iOS. On Android (Google Play), all core features are free with no subscription required. On iOS (App Store), the app is also free with an optional 'membership' subscription that unlocks additional premium features. If you choose to subscribe, the fee is charged to your iTunes account and auto-renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. To cancel: go to Settings → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → find OKOK and tap Cancel. Note that the Android version has received complaints about in-app advertisements; the iOS version (rated 4.6★) generally receives better user feedback.
Setting up the OKOK app with your scale takes about 2 minutes: (1) Download OKOK·International from the App Store or Google Play. (2) Open the app, create an account, and enter your profile details: gender, date of birth, and height — these are needed to calculate body composition metrics accurately. (3) Enable Bluetooth on your phone. (4) Place your scale on a flat hard surface (carpet reduces accuracy). (5) Step barefoot onto the scale's electrode pads — bare feet are required for BIA sensors to work. The app will automatically detect your scale via Bluetooth and receive the measurement. If the app doesn't connect automatically, try the 'Add Device' option in settings to manually scan for your scale.
Yes. OKOK·International is designed for family use. You can create multiple user profiles within the app — each with their own name, gender, age, height, and weight history. When different people step on the scale, the app attempts to match the measurement to the correct profile based on stored data. For the most accurate profile matching, each user should tap their own profile in the app before stepping on the scale. All family members can track their progress separately while sharing a single Bluetooth scale.
On iOS, OKOK·International integrates with Apple's Health app. With your authorization, the app syncs your weight data into Apple Health, making it accessible to other health and fitness apps that read Apple Health data. This integration is confirmed and well-documented. For Android, some compatible smart scale manufacturers reference Google Fit and Fitbit integration in their product materials — however, this integration may depend on the specific app version and your region. Check the app's Settings menu for current integration options. The Apple Health integration on iOS is the most reliable and widely confirmed.
OKOK·International has a significantly different rating on Android (2.3★ on Google Play) versus iOS (4.6★ on App Store). The primary reasons cited in Android reviews include: (1) Intrusive advertisements that appear when opening the app — some users report the ad overlay button is difficult to close due to UI placement issues; (2) Connectivity issues on some Android devices; (3) App stability complaints on specific Android versions. The iOS version receives far fewer of these complaints. If you're an Android user experiencing ad or connectivity issues, try updating to the latest version from Google Play or downloading from the official tookok.cn page. Alternatively, the iOS version offers a notably better experience if you have an iPhone.
The intermittent fasting tool is a newer feature in OKOK·International that lets you set and track fasting periods. You choose a fasting protocol (such as 16:8 or 18:6) and the app tracks your current fasting window with a timer. Fasting tracking complements the body composition data — as intermittent fasting is a common strategy for weight loss and metabolic health, having both measurements and fasting data in one app helps you correlate your body changes with your dietary patterns. The tool sends notification reminders when your fasting window starts and ends.
OKOK·International is developed by Shenzhen Careyou Health Science and Technology Co., LTD. According to the Google Play data safety declaration, the app may collect personal information and health & fitness data, but states that no data is shared with third parties. The app requires Bluetooth permission for scale connectivity, and may request location permission on Android versions below 12 (required for BLE scanning per Android OS requirements). The full privacy policy is available at: https://www.tookok.cn/license/okok/en/privacy.html. For users concerned about data privacy, reviewing the privacy policy before use is recommended. The app does not require account registration to use basic features on Android.
I bought a scale off of TEMU with the thought that it wouldn't work or would only give me my weight with no other information, but for the price of the scale I would have been happy regardless. I was very pleasantly surprised with how much information was provided and how easy it was to setup! The app seems to work great for me, and was very easy to use with multiple members of my family. There have been relatively few ads so far. So far I am very happy!
Awesome it works great love it — great to keep up with my progress on a daily basis!
I love it, it tracks what I need it for. Thank you very much. Does exactly what it says it will do.
I love everything about this app. No complaints at all.
It provides more information than I need. The ads are not that frequent. Excellent data tracking and am surprised at the battery life.
I have had this app for 4+ years and I just love it! It collects all the data and can even show the progress from the very first day using it till today. Not sure how accurate are the breakdowns of the individual components but something to keep me motivated and on track is good enough for day to day use.
Very happy with this App. Keeps me motivated to carry on and to lose weight and become healthy. I love the history setting of the device. I can see what my progress was. Thanks OKOK!
I love my scale and the app so far! It is very accurate and easy to set up. I see most people reviewing complained about unnecessary permissions. So far it has only asked for location and nearby devices for Bluetooth connectivity. No other permissions were asked for. This will be great help for my fitness journey!
I bought a digital scale off TEMU for like six bucks — it's pretty classy and tells me lots of information about my weight, fat to muscle to water ratio etc. Really impressed with how much data this free app provides!
Just one single ad when you open, and you don't have to accept to give your location — click on 'continue' when the app opens, no delay. 20 seconds in the morning to launch, use, and get results that save instantly. Works really well for multiple users. Really good!
OKOK·International (also known as OKOK Healthcare Management) is the official free companion app for Bluetooth smart body weight and body composition scales. Developed by Shenzhen Careyou Health Science and Technology Co., the app has helped over 17 million users worldwide track and manage their weight and body composition metrics — making it one of the most widely used smart scale apps available for both Android and iOS.
The OKOK app works with a wide range of Bluetooth-enabled smart scales, particularly the popular low-cost body composition scales sold under various brand names on Amazon and AliExpress. If your scale came with a QR code pointing to OKOK or uses the package name com.chipsea.btcontrol.en, this is the app you need.
The OKOK International scale app is designed for everyday health monitoring at home. Its primary purpose is to connect your smartphone wirelessly to a compatible Bluetooth smart scale, automatically receive your measurements, and display them in an easy-to-understand dashboard.
Unlike basic scale apps that only record weight, the OKOK app goes further by calculating and visualizing up to 12 body composition metrics when paired with a body fat (BIA) scale:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Body Weight | Precise measurement in kg or lb |
| BMI | Body Mass Index calculated from weight and height |
| Body Fat % | Estimated from bioelectrical impedance |
| Body Water % | Total body water percentage |
| Muscle Mass | Estimated skeletal muscle weight |
| Visceral Fat | Internal fat level rating |
| Bone Mass | Estimated bone density weight |
| Basal Metabolic Rate | Daily calorie burn at rest |
| Protein % | Protein content as body percentage |
| Body Age | Biological age estimate |
| Obesity Degree | Weight category classification |
| Fat-Free Mass | Lean body mass |
The connection process is simple:
For body composition metrics (fat, water, muscle) to appear, your scale must have built-in bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) sensors — the metal electrode pads on the scale surface. Basic weight-only scales will still connect but only display weight data.
The OKOK app saves every measurement with a timestamp and displays your progress on visual charts. You can view daily, weekly, and monthly weight trends, making it easy to see the impact of diet and exercise changes over time.
One of OKOK's most popular features is multi-user support. Multiple family members can each have their own profile within the same app. When different people step on the scale, the app automatically identifies the user based on their stored profile data.
On iOS, the OKOK International app integrates with Apple Health, allowing weight measurements to sync directly into your Health app. This makes OKOK measurements accessible to other health apps that read Apple Health data. Some compatible scale marketing materials also reference Google Fit and Fitbit integration for Android.
Based on your body composition results, OKOK provides personalized suggestions around exercise habits, dietary choices, and sleep patterns to help you work toward your health goals.
A newer addition to the OKOK app, the intermittent fasting tracker helps users manage fasting windows — useful for weight loss and metabolic health protocols.
The personal food library feature lets you create and save custom meals and food items, making it easier to track dietary patterns alongside your body composition changes.
A common question from users is: how accurate is OKOK International?
The weight measurement from the scale hardware itself is typically accurate to ±0.2 kg (same as most digital scales). The body composition estimates (fat, water, muscle) are calculated using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) — a widely used but inherently approximate method. Factors that affect BIA accuracy include:
The OKOK app and compatible scales are designed for general wellness tracking, not clinical diagnosis. Results are best used for tracking personal trends over time rather than as absolute health measurements.
The OKOK app is free to download on both Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store). Core features — Bluetooth scale connection, measurement recording, trend charts, and multi-user profiles — are available at no cost.
An optional membership subscription is available on iOS, offering additional premium features. Membership fees are charged to your iTunes account, with auto-renewal unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date (via Settings → [Apple ID] → Subscriptions → OKOK).
OKOK·International works with hundreds of Bluetooth smart scales that use the OKOK/Chipsea communication protocol. Compatible scales are commonly sold under these brands and on these platforms:
