Qwatch (also called Q Watch on iOS) is a free companion app for budget smartwatches and fitness trackers, developed by Shenzhen Qingcheng Wireless Technology (深圳市青橙无线科技有限公司). It connects to your smartwatch via Bluetooth 4.0 and serves as a health dashboard — displaying daily step counts, walking distance, calorie burn, heart rate data, blood pressure readings on compatible devices, sleep analysis (deep and light sleep duration), and exercise logs. The app also pushes call reminders and SMS notifications from your phone to your watch. Qwatch is free to download and use on both Android (Google Play, package: com.qcwx.qwatch, 500K+ downloads) and iOS (App Store, ID: 1501277738).
How do I connect the Qwatch app to my smartwatch?
To connect Qwatch to your smartwatch: (1) Download Qwatch from Google Play (com.qcwx.qwatch) or the App Store (ID: 1501277738); (2) Enable Bluetooth on your phone and power on your smartwatch; (3) On Android, make sure location services are enabled — required for Bluetooth LE scanning; (4) Open the Qwatch app and navigate to the device pairing section; (5) Scan for your watch or enter the device QR code from the watch packaging; (6) Select your watch from the scan list and confirm pairing. If the watch doesn't appear, restart both the phone and the watch and try again — some users report needing to restart both devices on the first connection attempt.
Which smartwatches are compatible with Qwatch?
The Qwatch app is designed for budget Bluetooth smartwatches and fitness bands, including the R3L and TEK-05 models. More broadly, any smartwatch that comes with a QR code linking to Qwatch on the packaging, or a manual that directs you to search for 'Qwatch' in the app store, should be compatible. These are typically low-to-mid price smartwatches sold under various brand names on Amazon, AliExpress, and local electronics retailers. If unsure, check whether the watch manufacturer specifies Qwatch as the companion app.
Why is Qwatch not showing SMS notifications on my watch?
SMS notification sync is a known limitation on iOS — some users report that the app doesn't reliably forward iMessage/SMS alerts despite other app notifications working. To troubleshoot: (1) Ensure Qwatch has notification access enabled in Settings > Notifications; (2) Check that the watch is connected and Bluetooth is active; (3) On Android, grant notification access permission to Qwatch in the phone's notification settings; (4) Make sure the SMS notification toggle is enabled in the Qwatch app settings; (5) Update the app to the latest version. On iOS, iMessage/SMS sync limitations are a known issue reported by users — consider using the upgraded QWatch Pro app which may have improved notification handling.
Does Qwatch track blood pressure?
Yes, on compatible smartwatch models, the Qwatch app supports blood pressure monitoring. After taking a measurement on your watch, the reading syncs to the app for display and tracking. Users have reported that blood pressure readings compare reasonably well with standard arm cuffs for daily wellness tracking purposes. As with all consumer wearables, Qwatch-compatible watches are not medical devices — blood pressure readings are for general reference only and should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment decisions.
Is Qwatch free?
Yes. Qwatch is completely free to download and use on both Android and iOS. There are no subscription fees, premium tiers, or in-app purchases. All features — step counting, sleep monitoring, heart rate tracking, blood pressure readings on compatible devices, exercise logging, call reminders, SMS notifications, and alarm reminders — are available at no cost.
What is the difference between Qwatch and QWatch Pro?
Qwatch and QWatch Pro are two apps from the same developer (Shenzhen Qingcheng Wireless Technology). Qwatch (com.qcwx.qwatch / App Store ID: 1501277738) is the original companion app with core health tracking and notification features. QWatch Pro (com.qcwireless.qcwatch / App Store ID: 1572827103) is the upgraded version and adds: 100+ sport modes with GPS trajectory recording, SpO2 (blood oxygen) monitoring, stress level tracking, OTA firmware updates, Apple Health integration on iOS, and contact sync for caller ID display. If your watch packaging directs you to 'QWatch Pro', download that version instead.
How accurate is the health tracking in Qwatch?
Qwatch health measurements use the sensors in your paired smartwatch to provide consumer-grade wellness readings. Step counting accuracy is good for daily activity trends. Sleep tracking provides useful deep/light sleep breakdowns, though some users note that data accuracy improves when the watch data is periodically cleared. Heart rate and blood pressure readings are suitable for general wellness reference. For best accuracy: wear the watch snugly on your wrist, ensure the watch is charged, and sync data regularly through the app. All consumer wearable readings are approximate — for medical monitoring, consult a healthcare professional.
Why does the Qwatch app need SMS and call permissions?
Qwatch requires SMS and call permissions to enable its notification feature — forwarding incoming call caller ID and SMS message content from your phone to your smartwatch via Bluetooth. According to the developer's privacy policy, these permissions are used solely to display notifications on the watch and the data is not stored on servers. On iOS, the developer states no data is collected. On Android, personal info and device IDs may be shared with third parties. You can review the full privacy policy at https://api1.qcwxkjvip.com/ppm.html.
How do I fix Qwatch step counting or sleep data inaccuracies?
If Qwatch step counting or sleep data becomes inaccurate after several days of use, try manually clearing the data on the watch itself — this is a known workaround reported by users. Other troubleshooting steps: (1) Make sure the watch is worn snugly (not too loose) on the wrist; (2) Sync the app daily by opening Qwatch while the watch is nearby and Bluetooth is on; (3) Check that the watch battery is charged; (4) Ensure your profile (height, weight, age) is set up correctly in the app for accurate calorie calculations; (5) Update the app to the latest version for the most recent bug fixes.

I love this watch — this can do everything. It can even take your blood pressure. The only bad thing is sometimes the weather app is off a little, like it has the wrong temperature. Otherwise great watch.

Hey, I really love the watch and app! But maybe you guys can add more watch faces to the App if possible? And the energy thing you have in the app — maybe you can add that to the watch in health as well. And maybe make the weather app a little bit more accurate. Thanks for reading this!
App Store
This app doesn't have a sleep alarm, which makes it less useful for my needs. Other functions are excellent though. The step counting, heart rate, and sleep data all work great. Addition of a smart sleep alarm would be great!
App Store
This app is great, except it doesn't sync notifications through SMS/iMessage. I get notifications for every app except that one. Every update, I wait for them to fix the issue, but they never do. If this gets fixed, I will rate this app 5 stars!
App Store
Solid companion app for a budget watch. Heart rate tracking is reliable and sleep data gives a good breakdown of deep vs light sleep. Call notifications work well — I can see who's calling without picking up my phone. Good value for a free app.
Google Play
Watch/App combo came as a free gift! So far my only complaint is that after a few days of consecutive use, the watch doesn't give accurate readings for steps or sleep. It seems the data on the watch needs to be manually cleared daily in order to ensure the most optimal reads. The English grammar could also be better overall on the app, but it's navigatable.
Google Play
So far, the watch and app seem to work great. I had issues in the beginning trying to get the watch to sync with the app — I had to restart both watch and phone to get them to pair. Just wish they had more watch faces or a way to use another app to download more faces. They don't give you many options if you want to make your own.
Google Play
Good basic health tracking app for a budget smartwatch. Step counting seems accurate and sleep tracking gives useful deep/light sleep breakdowns. Blood pressure readings on compatible models are reasonably close to my arm cuff. Call reminders work reliably. Can't complain for a free app.
Google Play
Works as advertised for the basics — steps, sleep, heart rate all sync OK. My main gripe is the limited watch face selection. Also the app interface could use some polish. But for the price of the watch and a free app, the core tracking features do their job well.
Google Play
Great app for keeping track of daily health stats. The sleep analysis is surprisingly detailed — it shows exactly how long you spent in deep sleep vs light sleep. Heart rate monitoring is smooth. Call notification on the watch is super handy during meetings. No ads, no subscription. Five stars.
