Introduction
RDFit is a free smartwatch companion app developed by Shenzhen Runde Intelligent Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (润德智能通讯). With over 5 million downloads on Google Play, the RDFit app connects to a wide range of budget and mid-range Bluetooth smartwatches — particularly the IW series — enabling call management, notification forwarding, and comprehensive health tracking from your phone.
If your smartwatch came with a QR code pointing to RDFit, or the manual instructs you to download it, this guide covers everything: how to connect your device, what health features are available, how to customize watch faces, and how to troubleshoot common pairing issues.
What Is the RDFit App?
The RDFit app is a connected-device companion that pairs with specific Bluetooth smartwatches (such as the IW7 MAX, PS9Ultra2, IW8, and similar IW-series devices) via Bluetooth. Once paired, RDFit forwards notifications, SMS, and incoming calls to your watch while collecting health and activity data — including steps, heart rate, sleep stages, and more — so you can view and manage everything on your phone.
RDFit is designed for general fitness and lifestyle monitoring, not clinical or medical use. All health data provided by the app is intended for general wellness reference only.
What Smartwatches Are Compatible with RDFit?
The RDFit app supports a range of budget and mid-range smartwatches manufactured by Shenzhen Runde Intelligent and compatible third-party brands. Popular RDFit compatible watches include:
IW7 MAX — one of the most commonly paired models
PS9Ultra2 — large-screen ultra-style smartwatch
IW8 — popular entry-level Bluetooth watch
Generic "IW series" smartwatches — many unbranded or white-label watches
Various budget smartwatches that ship with a QR code pointing to the RDFit download page
Power on your smartwatch, open the RDFit app, and tap "Add Device." If your watch appears in the Bluetooth scan results, it is supported. Many compatible watches also display a QR code on the pairing screen that links directly to RDFit.

RDFit is a free smartwatch companion app developed by Shenzhen Runde Intelligent Communication Technology Co., Ltd. It connects to Bluetooth smartwatches — primarily the IW series (IW7 MAX, PS9Ultra2, IW8, and similar models) — to enable call management, notification forwarding, and health tracking. Core features include answering and making calls from your wrist, receiving SMS and app notifications, tracking daily steps, heart rate, sleep stages, and blood oxygen, and customizing watch faces. RDFit is available for free on both Android and iOS (requires iOS 12.0+ or Android 8.0+ with Bluetooth 4.0).
How do I connect my smartwatch to the RDFit app?
To connect your smartwatch to RDFit: (1) Download RDFit from Google Play or the App Store. (2) Open the app and grant Bluetooth, Location, and Notification permissions. (3) Ensure your watch is powered on and Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. (4) Tap 'Add Device' in RDFit. (5) Select your watch from the scanned device list, or scan the QR code shown on your watch's pairing screen. (6) Confirm pairing and wait for the initial sync. If your watch doesn't appear, restart both devices and ensure the watch isn't already paired to another phone. On Android, Location permission is required for Bluetooth scanning — this is an Android system requirement.
Why is my RDFit not connecting or keeps disconnecting?
Common causes of RDFit connection issues: (1) Background app restrictions — Android and iOS kill background apps to save battery. Add RDFit to your battery optimization whitelist (Settings → Battery → RDFit → Don't Optimize). (2) Missing permissions — RDFit needs Bluetooth, Location, and Notification permissions. (3) Watch already paired to another phone — unpair from the old phone first. (4) Outdated app — update RDFit to the latest version. (5) Bluetooth interference — move away from other Bluetooth devices and Wi-Fi routers. (6) If all else fails, unpair the watch, uninstall RDFit, reinstall, and pair from scratch.
What smartwatches are compatible with RDFit?
RDFit is compatible with smartwatches manufactured by Shenzhen Runde Intelligent Communication and compatible third-party brands using the same Bluetooth protocol. Popular models include: IW7 MAX, PS9Ultra2, IW8, and various other IW-series watches. Many unbranded or generic budget smartwatches that ship with a QR code pointing to the RDFit download page are also compatible. The easiest way to check: open RDFit, tap 'Add Device,' and see if your watch appears in the scan results. If your watch manual specifies RDFit, it is compatible.
How do I change or download watch faces in RDFit?
To change watch faces: (1) Ensure your watch is connected to RDFit. (2) Open the app and navigate to the watch face or dial section. (3) Browse the available watch face library. (4) Tap a design you like and select 'Apply' or 'Set.' The watch face will sync to your watch via Bluetooth. Keep the watch close to your phone during the transfer. Note: the number of available watch faces depends on your specific watch model. If the 'dial push' fails, ensure your Bluetooth connection is stable and try again.
Is RDFit safe to use? What data does it collect?
RDFit stores health data locally on your device by default. According to the App Store privacy label, RDFit may collect: precise location, contacts, photos/videos, user content, and usage data. Location and contacts data may be used for advertising. On Google Play, RDFit declares no data sharing with third parties, but notes data is not encrypted. The app integrates with Apple Health on iOS. Our assessment: RDFit is acceptable for everyday fitness tracking on budget wearables, but users with strict privacy needs should consider alternatives. All health data is for general wellness only — not for medical use.
Can RDFit sync with Apple Health?
Yes. The iOS version of RDFit integrates with Apple HealthKit and can read and write health data to the Apple Health app. To enable it: go to iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → RDFit, and authorize the data types you want synced (steps, heart rate, sleep). Data syncs when you open RDFit or during background refresh. If data doesn't appear in Apple Health, open RDFit manually to trigger a sync.
Can I make and receive calls through RDFit?
Yes — call management is one of RDFit's key features. Once your watch is paired via Bluetooth, you can: answer incoming calls on the watch, reject calls with a tap, reply to missed calls via SMS, and make outgoing calls from the watch's stored address book. The call audio routes through the watch's built-in speaker and microphone. Note: call quality depends on your Bluetooth connection strength and the specific watch model's hardware.
RDFit vs Da Fit — which app should I use?
RDFit and Da Fit are separate apps for different smartwatch ecosystems and are not interchangeable. RDFit (by Runde Intelligent) works with IW-series watches (IW7 MAX, PS9Ultra2, IW8, etc.). Da Fit (by Mo Young Limited) works with Mo Young / CRREPA protocol devices (Colmi, Bakeey, Kospet, etc.). Da Fit has more downloads (50M+ vs 5M+) and more watch faces, but RDFit has stronger call management features. Use whichever app your watch manual specifies — they cannot connect to each other's devices.
How do I download and install the RDFit app?
To download RDFit: on Android, search 'RDFit' in the Google Play Store or go to the listing for package 'com.rd.tengfei.bdnotification.' On iPhone, search 'RDFit' in the App Store or look for 'RDFit - Runde Intelligent' (App ID: 6670539969). The app is completely free with no subscription or in-app purchases. After installing, open the app, grant permissions, and follow the on-screen pairing guide. System requirements: Android 8.0+ with Bluetooth 4.0, or iOS 12.0+.
What should I do if the RDFit dial push fails?
If watch face (dial) push fails in RDFit: (1) Ensure your watch is connected and within close Bluetooth range of your phone. (2) Check that Bluetooth is not being used by other devices simultaneously. (3) Restart the RDFit app and try the dial push again. (4) If the problem persists, restart both your phone and watch, then reconnect. (5) Make sure you have the latest version of RDFit installed. (6) Some watch faces may not be compatible with all watch models — try a different design. Dial push requires a stable Bluetooth connection throughout the transfer process.

So far I've been using it for almost going on a year. I have had no problems out of it whatsoever. It connects quickly, the health tracking is reliable, and notifications come through consistently. For a free app paired with an affordable smartwatch, it does everything I need. The call feature works surprisingly well and the watch face options are decent. Would recommend to anyone looking for a budget smartwatch companion.
Pricing InfoFree to download with no in-app purchases and no subscription required. All features are included at no cost. Monetization is tied to hardware sales of compatible smartwatches.
I bought an IW7 MAX smartwatch and it pointed me to RDFit. Setup was straightforward — scan the QR code, pair via Bluetooth, done. The call management feature is great; I can answer calls from my wrist while cooking or driving. Heart rate seems accurate enough compared to my Fitbit. Sleep tracking shows useful patterns. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the watch face selection could be larger. Overall a solid free app.

Using RDFit with my daughter's budget smartwatch for a few months now. It does what it says — tracks steps, monitors sleep, forwards text notifications. The app syncs with Apple Health which is a big plus for us since we use that as our central health dashboard. Connection is stable as long as you whitelist the app in battery settings. Interface could be more polished but functionality is there.
App Store
From the latest update there has been a problem with the shutter camera feature and calling from the watch. It was working fine before the update. Other than that, the app is pretty functional for basic health tracking. Steps and heart rate work well, sleep data is decent. I hope they fix the camera and calling issues in the next update because those were features I used daily.
App Store
For the price of my smartwatch (under $30), RDFit delivers way more functionality than I expected. I mainly use it for call notifications and step tracking, and it handles both reliably. The Bluetooth connection stays solid throughout the day. I also like that data is stored locally on my phone — no mandatory cloud account needed. The weather widget on the watch is a nice touch. Would love to see more workout modes added.
Google Play
RDFit has been working great with my PS9Ultra2 for about 6 months. The call handling is the best feature — I work in a warehouse and being able to answer calls from my wrist without pulling out my phone is a game changer. Notifications are reliable, heart rate seems accurate, and sleep tracking gives me useful data. The app itself is clean and easy to navigate. Highly recommend for anyone with a compatible watch.
Google Play
Good app for my budget smartwatch. Steps tracking is accurate when I compare it to counting manually. I especially like the watch face customization — there's a decent selection for a free app. Sleep tracking is helpful and shows me patterns I wasn't aware of. The only downside is occasional slow sync after the phone has been idle for a long time. Adding the app to battery whitelist helped a lot. Overall very satisfied.
Google Play
I am using RDFit with IW8 smartwatch and it is working very well. The connection is stable, notifications come through on time, and I can make calls from the watch easily. The health features are basic but that is fine for the price. Heart rate monitoring works throughout the day. One suggestion: please add more languages and improve the translation quality for non-English users. Otherwise excellent free app.
Google Play
The app works for basic features — step counting, notifications, and calls. These are all reliable and I use them daily. However, the interface feels a bit dated compared to apps like Da Fit or Zepp. Also, the watch face download is sometimes slow and occasionally fails. I had to try multiple times for some designs. Heart rate and sleep data are useful but could be presented in better charts. For a free app though, it gets the job done.
Google Play
Excellent companion app for my IW7 MAX. I've tried several budget smartwatch apps and RDFit is among the better ones for call management. Being able to answer and make calls from the watch is incredibly convenient. The health tracking is basic but consistent — steps are accurate and heart rate matches my gym equipment readings. Sleep data has helped me improve my sleep schedule. The app is lightweight and doesn't drain phone battery. Five stars for a free app.

To check compatibility:
Core Features of the RDFit App
Call & SMS Management
The standout feature of RDFit is its ability to handle calls and messages directly on your smartwatch. When a call comes in, you can answer, reject, or reply via SMS from the watch. You can also place calls from the watch's address book, making it a true communication companion — not just a fitness tracker.
Notification Forwarding
With the user's permission, RDFit mirrors a wide range of app notifications to the watch — including WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and other messaging apps. This keeps you connected without constantly checking your phone.
Activity & Fitness Tracking
The RDFit watch app records daily activity data: step count, distance traveled, and estimated calories burned. Data is presented in charts and historical summaries on your phone, helping you monitor activity trends over time and work toward daily fitness goals.
Heart Rate Monitoring
RDFit continuously monitors heart rate through compatible watch sensors and displays heart-rate trends throughout the day. The app supports optional alerts for unusually high or low heart rate, helping you keep an eye on cardiovascular health during daily activities and exercise sessions.
Sleep Tracking & Analysis
RDFit tracks sleep duration and sleep stages — deep sleep, light sleep, and awake periods — then summarizes the data in a sleep-analysis screen. This helps users understand sleep patterns and identify areas for improvement.
Watch Face Customization
The RDFit app includes a watch face library with various designs — from classic analog styles to modern digital layouts. Browse, preview, and apply new watch faces directly from the app. This is one of the most popular features among RDFit users.
Smartwatch Utilities
RDFit also serves as a configuration hub for watch features including:
Calculator, weather, and compass — useful daily tools
Timer and alarms — set directly from the app
Music control — play/pause and skip tracks from your wrist
Camera shutter — trigger your phone camera remotely
Games — casual games on compatible watches
Pedometer and calorie counter — always-on activity widgets
How to Connect Your Smartwatch to RDFit
Setting up the RDFit app takes just a few minutes:
Open the app and grant required permissions: Bluetooth, Location (required for Bluetooth scanning on Android), and Notifications
Tap the "Add Device" button
Enable Bluetooth on your phone and power on your smartwatch
Select your watch from the scanned device list — or scan the QR code displayed on your watch
Confirm pairing and wait for the initial data sync to complete
Configure which app notifications you want forwarded to your watch
Tip: If RDFit frequently disconnects, add it to your phone's battery optimization whitelist. Most connection drops are caused by the OS killing the app in the background to save battery.

RDFit Data Privacy & Safety
RDFit stores health data locally on your device by default, which keeps sensitive health metrics under your control. Key privacy points:
Data collection: The app may collect location (precise), contacts, photos/videos, and usage data for app functionality and advertising
Data sharing: RDFit declares no data is shared with third parties on Google Play
Data encryption: Data is not encrypted according to Google Play's data safety section
Data deletion: You can request that your data be deleted
HealthKit integration: On iOS, RDFit integrates with Apple Health, allowing health data to sync with the system Health app
Our assessment: RDFit is suitable for everyday fitness tracking on budget wearables. As with all companion apps for budget smartwatches, it is not recommended for sensitive medical data or users with strict privacy requirements.
Note: RDFit is not a medical device. All health data is for general wellness reference only and should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment decisions.
Who Is RDFit For?
The RDFit app is a good choice for:
Budget smartwatch buyers who need a reliable companion app for their IW-series or Runde-compatible wearable
Users who want call and SMS management on their wrist — RDFit's call handling is a standout feature
Casual fitness trackers who need basic step counting, sleep monitoring, and heart rate data
Watch face enthusiasts who want to customize their watch display
Android and iOS users — full functionality on both platforms with Apple Health integration on iOS
It is not ideal for:
Users who need advanced training metrics (VO₂ max, GPS tracks, power zones) — consider Garmin Connect or Apple Fitness
Privacy-conscious users tracking sensitive health conditions
Users with watches from other ecosystems (Da Fit, Wearfit Pro, Zepp, etc.)
