Introduction
SayMi — also known as EarJoy (Android package: com.watchfun.classearjoy) — is a free companion app for AI translation earbuds, developed by Shenzhen Watch Fun Internet Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳沃奇互娱科技有限公司). With over 1 million downloads on Google Play and a 4.1-star rating, the SayMi app transforms compatible Bluetooth earbuds into powerful real-time translation devices supporting over 100 languages.
Available on the Apple App Store (ID: 6738637943) and Google Play (package: com.watchfun.classearjoy), the SayMi app connects to AI translation earbuds via Bluetooth and provides a streamlined interface for language translation, device management, and audio relaxation features.
How SayMi Works
The SayMi app (sometimes searched as "say mi app" or "earjoy app") pairs with AI-powered Bluetooth earbuds to enable instant multilingual communication:
Download SayMi from Google Play or the App Store and open the app.
Enable Bluetooth on your phone and put your earbuds in pairing mode.
Pair your earbuds by tapping the device icon in SayMi and selecting your headphones.
Choose a translation mode: Headphones+Phone mode or Free Talk mode.
Select your languages — the source language and the target language.
Start speaking: SayMi captures voice, translates in real time, and delivers the translated audio through the earbuds.
The entire process works with low latency, making it suitable for travel conversations, business meetings across language barriers, and everyday multilingual communication.
Core Feature: Dual-Ear Real-Time Translation
The flagship feature of the is — a system where both people in a conversation can each wear one earbud and hear real-time translations of what the other person is saying.
SayMi — also known as EarJoy (Android package: com.watchfun.classearjoy) — is a free companion app for AI translation earbuds developed by Shenzhen Watch Fun Internet Technology Co., Ltd. Once you pair compatible Bluetooth earbuds with the SayMi app, it enables real-time voice translation in 100+ languages. The app offers two main translation modes: Headphones+Phone Mode (you wear the earbuds and hear translations while others speak into your phone) and Free Talk Mode (both speakers each wear one earbud for natural back-and-forth conversation). Beyond translation, SayMi also manages earbuds settings, monitors battery levels, and includes a sleep relaxation music library. It is free to download on Google Play (1M+ downloads, 4.1 stars) and the Apple App Store (3.4 stars).
How does SayMi translation work?
SayMi uses cloud-based AI translation to convert spoken speech to text, translate it, and then convert the translated text back to speech — all in near real-time. Here's how the process works: (1) Voice capture: SayMi uses your phone's microphone (or the earbuds' mic) to capture the speaker's voice. (2) Speech-to-text: the audio is processed by AI to convert speech into text. (3) Translation: the recognized text is translated into the target language using AI translation models. (4) Text-to-speech: the translated text is converted back to audio and delivered through your earbuds. The entire cycle happens in seconds, enabling natural conversation. Translation accuracy is highest for clearly spoken, standard speech in major languages. Noisy environments, strong accents, or very fast speech may reduce accuracy.
How many languages does SayMi support?
SayMi claims to support 100+ languages for translation. Core supported languages include English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Arabic, Hindi, and many more. The app's interface itself is available in 16 languages: Arabic, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese Simplified, Spanish, Thai, Chinese Traditional, and Vietnamese. Language coverage is strongest for major world languages. Some less common languages or regional dialects may have lower translation accuracy. New languages are added with app updates.
How do I connect my earbuds to SayMi?
To connect your earbuds to the SayMi app: (1) Install SayMi from Google Play or the Apple App Store. (2) Enable Bluetooth on your phone. (3) Put your AI translation earbuds into pairing mode — typically by holding the button on the case or earbuds until the LED flashes. (4) Open the SayMi app and tap the device/earbuds icon on the home screen. (5) Select your earbuds from the list of available Bluetooth devices. (6) Confirm the pairing when prompted. Once connected, a green indicator or battery display confirms the connection. If your earbuds don't appear in the list, ensure they are in pairing mode and within Bluetooth range (within ~10 meters). Make sure SayMi has Bluetooth and microphone permissions in your phone settings.
Why is SayMi not working or not connecting?
Common issues and fixes for SayMi: (1) Earbuds not pairing — ensure the earbuds are in pairing mode (check your earbud manual). Forget the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and try re-pairing from within the app. (2) Translation audio plays through phone speaker instead of earbuds — this is a known issue. Try closing and reopening the app, and ensure your earbuds are the active audio output device. Check phone audio settings to set earbuds as the default audio device. (3) App crashes on startup — clear the SayMi app cache (Android: Settings > Apps > SayMi > Storage > Clear Cache), then restart. Or uninstall and reinstall. (4) Poor translation accuracy — move to a quieter environment, speak slowly and clearly, and ensure the microphone is not blocked. (5) Connection drops — keep your phone within 10 meters of the earbuds, and ensure SayMi has background activity permissions to prevent the OS from killing the app.
Is SayMi free? Are there in-app purchases?
Yes — SayMi is completely free to download and use on both Android and iOS. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or premium tiers. All core features — dual-ear translation, 100+ languages, Bluetooth headset management, AI chart, sleep music — are available at no cost. The app's revenue model is tied to hardware sales: SayMi serves as the companion app for AI translation earbuds sold by affiliated brands. This means no hidden paywalls for the app itself.
What earbuds are compatible with SayMi (EarJoy)?
SayMi (EarJoy) is designed for AI translation earbuds that ship with a QR code or instruction pointing to the SayMi app or the EarJoy app (package: com.watchfun.classearjoy). Compatible devices include: ClassEarJoy AI translation earbuds (the primary branded product), Mimiso AI translation earbuds, and various other unbranded AI translation earbuds sold on Amazon, AliExpress, and other online platforms that use the SayMi/EarJoy app as their companion. If your earbuds' packaging instructs you to download 'SayMi' or 'EarJoy' and the QR code leads to com.watchfun.classearjoy, these are the correct earbuds for this app. Standard Bluetooth headphones (like AirPods or Galaxy Buds) are not designed to use SayMi for AI translation — the translation feature requires the specific AI earbuds hardware.
How do I use SayMi's Headphones+Phone and Free Talk modes?
SayMi offers two main translation modes: (1) Headphones+Phone Mode — You wear the earbuds. The other person speaks into your phone's microphone in their language. SayMi translates their speech and plays the translation through your earbuds. Best for: listening to and understanding a foreign-language speaker in real time. Setup: Open SayMi → tap 'Translation' → select 'Headphones+Phone Mode' → choose the speaker's language (source) and your language (target) → tap Start. (2) Free Talk Mode — Both you and the other person each wear one earbud from the same pair. You speak your language; they hear the translation through their earbud. They speak their language; you hear the translation through your earbud. Best for: natural back-and-forth conversations where both parties participate actively. Setup: Open SayMi → tap 'Translation' → select 'Free Talk Mode' → assign languages to each person → tap Start.
Is SayMi safe to use? What data does it collect?
SayMi is developed by Shenzhen Watch Fun Internet Technology Co., Ltd., a Chinese technology company. On the App Store, SayMi declares it collects Audio data (used for translation processing). The privacy policy states that data is encrypted in transit, and users can request data deletion by contacting the developer. The app requires microphone access (required for voice translation) and Bluetooth permissions. As with any cloud-based translation app that processes voice audio, your spoken words are transmitted to servers for translation. If data privacy is a concern, review the full privacy policy at https://classicearjoy.com/app-about-h5?code=privacy_policy before use. The app does not appear to collect financial, location, or contact data based on App Store disclosures.
How does SayMi compare to Google Translate for conversation translation?
SayMi and Google Translate serve different use cases: SayMi (EarJoy) is specifically designed for earbud-based face-to-face translation. Its key advantage is the Dual-Ear mode — both parties each wear one earbud and hear translations without touching the phone. This creates a more natural, immersive conversation experience. SayMi requires compatible AI translation earbuds. Google Translate offers a Conversation mode that works without earbuds — you hold the phone between you and a conversation partner. Google Translate supports more languages (100+) with better offline options (downloadable language packs). SayMi is better for: earbud-based hands-free conversations, travel situations where you want to keep the phone pocketed. Google Translate is better for: quick one-off translations, document/text translation, offline use, and situations where you don't have compatible earbuds.

The translation mode can work more or less… It is an idea but it would be perfect if they made a free speech mode that had less flaws with the translation. Then, I can have the mode on longer especially if I'm trying to communicate and not just understand one sentence at a time. Hopefully it can be updated to translate different languages back to back without having to click between the both but I'm not holding any expectations. Though, it sure would help a lot and make things more faster. I'm sure people would want to buy it too if that were to happen later on with updates and fixes. The people who made this definitely had good intentions and seem to have a good idea in the right direction and seem very helpful to want to take the path in connecting people by breaking the language barriers with this app. I look forward to updates.

Overall, the app does work. I'm able to use the earphones to do Spanish and English. Most of the other Spanish speakers understand pretty well. The only problems I have run into has been communicating with Vietnamese and sometimes Chinese. I think honing in on some of the languages and sharpening the translation would be beneficial. Only problem I'm running into right now is the app randomly started crashing on me every time I open. I'm gonna see if a fresh reinstall works, but overall, I have been pleasantly surprised.

When I first opened the app I thought 'great another scam' but after taking the time to navigate through the app, and playing with it a bit, totally worth it! Be sure to go to the Headphones+Phones mode, select the language you want translated and what you want it translated to and boom you're there. My wife had a whole conversation with me in Spanish and I kept up the whole time! A little funky on the app but totally a great purchase!
App Store
I don't know what all the bad reviews are about. I followed the instructions that came with it. Mine connected to my iPhone immediately and all features of the app work great. I only tested out the Spanish to English translation since that's all I know. Very comfortable too. Bonus…it has several choices of sleep music FREE!
App Store
Great concept and the translation actually works well for English to Spanish conversations. I use it when speaking with my family members who don't speak English and it really bridges that gap. The Headphones+Phone mode is the most useful one — it feels natural once you get the hang of it. Would love faster language switching and support for more regional dialects. Overall a solid app for the price.
Google Play
The headphones this app came with are pretty dang loud, loud enough to use as speakers on your phones full volume, but the translated words came through my phones speaker rather than the headphones, which seems to defeat their purpose altogether. Also unless the person is speaking super clearly it will mistranslate what they're saying, so good luck piecing their words together.
Google Play
Very good tool for my earpod, but will rate more if YORUBA language can be added. I can fluently translate this if contacted. Millions throughout the world speak YORUBA (it's a Nigerian language). App works well for the languages it does support — pairing was smooth and the translation is fast.
Google Play
For me the earbuds I have are HTC and work well. The app is accurate and fast. People complain about either the earbuds they have or the app. If you have a decent product then the app is far more dependable than many give it credit. My advice, buy something decent to use the app with. I love the app.
Google Play
Very good apps... useful and a lot of benefits when we face some trouble example about language, miscommunication issues...but 'saymi' apps will be a hero and settle all communication issues. 10/10 star. The translation response is quick and the earbuds pairing worked without any issues for me.
Google Play
Decent. I love the concept but it's missing crucial languages. A big one is Haitian Creole. I bought headphones with this app to translate and it was specifically for Haitian Creole. The existing languages it supports work well though — the translation is reasonably accurate for common language pairs. Hope they expand the language library soon.
