Introduction
V Band is a free smartwatch companion app developed by xincore (Shenzhen Luo Jifu Innovation Technology Co., Ltd.), designed for budget Bluetooth smart bands and generic smartwatches. With over 1 million downloads on Google Play, V Band bridges low-cost wearable devices with your smartphone — delivering comprehensive health tracking, workout recording, smart notifications, and watch face customization in one free app.
Designed for users of budget smartwatches such as the NY17, Series models, and various generic BLE-compatible fitness trackers, V Band delivers practical fitness monitoring and notification features without the premium price tag.
How V Band Works
V Band connects to your smartwatch via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Once paired through the app's device tab, it continuously syncs health data — step counts, heart rate readings, sleep records, blood oxygen levels, blood pressure, body temperature, and workout logs — from your wrist to your phone. You can view your data in daily summaries with charts and trends.
The app also acts as a notification bridge: incoming calls, SMS messages, WeChat alerts, WhatsApp messages, and other social media notifications are forwarded from your phone to your watch, so you stay connected without constantly checking your phone.
Health & Fitness Tracking
Step Counting & Daily Activity
V Band records your daily step count, walking distance, and calories burned, comparing them against your personal goals. Real-time step display updates dynamically so you can monitor your activity throughout the day.
Sleep Monitoring
The app provides sleep quality tracking, recording total sleep duration and breaking it into deep sleep and light sleep periods. Daily sleep reports help you understand your rest patterns and identify areas for improvement.

FAQ
What is V Band and what does it do?
V Band is a free smartwatch companion app developed by xincore (Shenzhen Luo Jifu Innovation Technology Co., Ltd.) for budget Bluetooth smart bands and smartwatches like the NY17, Series models, and other BLE-compatible devices. Once paired via Bluetooth, V Band serves as your health dashboard: it displays step counts, walking distance, calorie burns, heart rate history, sleep stage breakdowns (deep/light sleep), blood oxygen, blood pressure, body temperature readings, and workout records. It also acts as a notification bridge — forwarding incoming calls, SMS messages, WeChat, and other social media alerts from your phone to your watch. V Band is completely free on both Android (Google Play, 1M+ downloads) and iOS (App Store).
How do I connect V Band to my smartwatch?
To connect V Band to your smartwatch: (1) Download V Band from Google Play (package: com.xincore.tech.app) or the App Store (ID: 1489271130); (2) Open the app and register via phone number or email; (3) Enable Bluetooth on your phone; (4) Power on your smartwatch and ensure it is in pairing mode; (5) In the V Band app, tap the device section and select 'Add Device' or search for nearby devices; (6) Select your watch from the Bluetooth scan list; (7) Confirm the pairing on both your phone and watch. Once connected, grant notification access when prompted to enable call and SMS forwarding. The app will then sync health data automatically.
Why is V Band not connecting to my watch?
Common V Band connection issues and fixes: (1) Bluetooth is off — make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, then force-close and reopen V Band. (2) Watch is out of range — keep phone and watch within 1–2 meters during initial pairing. (3) Cache problem — go to Settings > Apps > V Band > Storage, clear cache and data, then relaunch. (4) Re-pairing needed — remove the watch from V Band and from your phone's Bluetooth settings, then repair from scratch. (5) App not updated — check for the latest V Band version on the Play Store or App Store. (6) Device restart — power off both phone and smartwatch, then restart both and try again.
Which smartwatches are compatible with V Band?
V Band works with a range of generic and budget Bluetooth smartwatches and fitness trackers, including: NY17 series, Series models (various), and other BLE-compatible smart bands with IP68 waterproof ratings and color displays. V Band is typically the companion app for budget smartwatches sold on platforms like AliExpress, Amazon, or local markets. If your watch's packaging shows a QR code that leads to V Band, or the manual instructs you to search for "V Band" in the app store, this is the correct app.
Does V Band support sleep tracking?
Yes. V Band provides sleep monitoring for supported smartwatch models. It records your total sleep duration and breaks it into deep sleep and light sleep periods. You can view daily sleep stats to track your sleep quality over time. For best accuracy, wear your smartwatch while sleeping and keep your phone's Bluetooth connected. Note that sleep tracking accuracy varies by watch model and sensor quality — as with all consumer wearables, the data is for general wellness reference.
Does V Band sync with Apple Health?
Yes. V Band integrates with Apple Health on iOS. It syncs steps, distance, and calories data to Apple Health so your fitness data appears alongside other health apps. To enable this, go to V Band settings and allow Apple Health access when prompted.
Is V Band free?
Yes, V Band is completely free to download and use on both Android and iOS. There are no subscription fees, no premium tiers, and no in-app purchases. All features — health tracking, sleep monitoring, heart rate, blood oxygen, blood pressure, body temperature, workout records, call & SMS notifications, watch face customization, and device management — are available at no cost.
What health features does V Band support?
V Band supports the following health and fitness features (availability depends on your paired watch model): (1) Step counting — daily steps, distance, calories with real-time display; (2) Sleep monitoring — deep sleep and light sleep stages with daily reports; (3) Heart rate monitoring — real-time and historical data; (4) Blood oxygen (SpO₂) monitoring; (5) Blood pressure monitoring; (6) Body temperature monitoring; (7) GPS workout tracking — route mapping via phone GPS; (8) Exercise reports with distance, duration, steps, and calories. All health data is for general wellness reference only and not for medical diagnosis.
How do I set up notifications in V Band?
To enable notifications in V Band: (1) Make sure your watch is paired and connected; (2) Open V Band and go to notification or device settings; (3) Enable 'Call Reminder'; (4) Enable 'SMS Notification'; (5) Enable social media notifications (WhatsApp, WeChat, etc.); (6) On your phone, grant V Band notification access — on Android, go to Settings > Notifications > Notification Access and enable V Band. On iOS, allow notification permissions when prompted. Once set up, incoming calls, SMS, and social media alerts will appear on your watch.
Why is V Band data inaccurate or not syncing?
V Band data sync and accuracy tips: (1) Sync delay — pull to refresh in the app after wearing your watch for several hours. (2) Step count inaccuracy — ensure the watch is worn snugly, not loose; arm movement rather than actual steps can cause overcounting. (3) Sleep data missing — make sure Bluetooth stayed connected overnight and watch battery did not die. (4) Data not updating — force-close and reopen the app; if persistent, remove and re-pair the device. (5) Weather not updating — V Band's weather sync requires internet access and location permission. (6) Unit issues — some users report metric/standard unit conversion issues; check the settings for unit preferences.

I just got the watch today and I like it so far. However, I would like to be able to change the units of measurement from metric to standard. I haven't found a way to do that yet except for temperature. It's the only unit of measurement that I have the option to change.

V Band does the basics well for a budget watch. Heart rate and step counting work fine. Blood oxygen readings seem reasonable. The notification forwarding is the main reason I use this app. Occasionally needs reconnection but overall solid.
