wwfit is a free Bluetooth companion app for budget smartwatches and fitness trackers, primarily used with affordable Chinese-made wearables. Available on both Android (1M+ downloads) and iOS, the wwfit app turns your smartphone into a full health dashboard — syncing steps, sleep, heart rate, and GPS running data from your wrist while forwarding calls, SMS, and app notifications in real time.
Designed to work with a wide range of generic smartwatches and fitness bands, wwfit is especially popular with devices sold as budget alternatives to name-brand wearables. If your watch's packaging includes a QR code leading to wwfit or the manual says "download wwfit," this is the companion app you need.
How wwfit Works
The wwfit app connects to your smartwatch or fitness band via Bluetooth. Once paired, health data — step counts, heart rate readings, sleep records, and GPS workout logs — syncs from your band to your phone automatically. You can review your daily, weekly, and monthly activity at a glance from the app's clean dashboard.
wwfit also acts as a notification bridge: incoming calls, SMS messages, and third-party app alerts (WhatsApp, Facebook, WeChat, and others) are forwarded from your phone to your watch, keeping you informed without constantly reaching for your device. You can even reject incoming calls directly from your smartwatch.
Health & Fitness Tracking
Step Counting & Daily Activity
The wwfit smartwatch companion tracks your daily step count, walking distance, and calories burned. Weekly and monthly summaries let you review your activity trends and measure progress toward your fitness goals.
Sleep Monitoring
wwfit detects and records your — separating deep sleep from shallow sleep — and displays your total sleep duration each night. This helps you understand your rest patterns and identify habits affecting your sleep quality.
